Post-injury testing, like baseline testing, is comprised of computerized assessments that measure reaction time, memory capacity, mental processing speed, and executive functioning scores for memory (visual and verbal), reaction, and speed. This test has to be administered by a trained healthcare provider after an injury occurs.
Results can be compared to baseline scores or to age-referenced normative data to make return to activity decisions. Healthcare providers can also use this data to help figure out when you’re back to normal cognitive functioning.
